Examination
1.The examination for online MCA is conducted in online mode only. There is no offline exam option.
2.The online mode learners will have the following components for evaluation-
a)Continuous Assessment (CA)
b)End-Term Examination (ETE) (for Theory Courses)
c)End-Term Practical/Project (ETP) (For Practical/ Project/ Dissertation/ Term Paper based courses)
3.Further detail about Continuous Assessment-
a)Graded Assignments- To assess the performance of the students,assignments are provided to the students through the online Learning Management System.
b)Academic Participation- The participation of the student in LIVE virtual classes/ Pre-recorded lectures/ Discussion forums are assessed in this component.
4.The weightage for the end term exam is 70% and for the continuous exam is 30%.
5.Students can use a laptop/mobile for appearing in the end term examination.
6.The End-Term online examination in LPU is conducted using the methodology of proctored examination as per the guidelines of UGC.
7.The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
8.The examination contains both MCQ and objective type of questions
