About University
Uttaranchal University has been recognized by the UGC under sections 2(f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and by other statutory bodies of the State and the Nation. The University is promoted by the Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies & Research, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860).
The University has been accredited with the prestigious “A+ Grade” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Uttaranchal University has become the first university in the State of Uttarakhand to receive an NAAC A+ Grade in the first cycle of Accreditation, thus creating a history.
Accreditations / Recognitions
1. The University came into establishment in 2013, vide Uttaranchal University Act, 2012 (Uttarakhand Act. No. 11 of 2013) as a Private University and is located in Dehradun, the Capital city of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
2. The Uttaranchal University has been recognized by the University Grants Commission, Government of India under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and other statutory bodies of the State and the nation. Its lush green campus is situated on NH-72, Dehradun- India.
3. MBA and MCA programs are approved by AICTE- All India Council for Technical Education
Examination
The Evaluation methodology of the programs includes a combination of assignments, examinations, and project reports. Assignments are case-based and application-oriented, both components are required to be submitted on the student portal. Examinations include both objectives as Well as application-oriented components.
In addition, BBA (Distance) & Under Graduate Diploma students are required to submit a project report of 100 marks.
Pattern of Question Paper
The pattern of the question paper is composite where marks are reserved for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and descriptive questions.
